About Us

About our company

Darcet Microelectronics, part of the Darcet group of companies, is a Micro-electromechanical Systems (MEMS) based sensor & actuator company formed in 2019 by 30-year veterans of the semiconductor and MEMS industry.

For the last 25 years, Darcet has been developing semiconductor technology. In 2011, Darcet began working on MEMS technology with the support of Singapore’s government research agency Simtech and A*Star. The team at Darcet Microelectronics has concentrated its efforts on developing and manufacturing acoustic-based sensors for mobile communication industries, focusing on three main acoustic products-silicon microphones, micro-speakers, and thin-film bulk acoustic resonators. Since 2016, it has been granted several US patents in technologies relating to microphone and micro-speakers. It also has more patent applications pending, including a non-provisional application for a BAW resonator.

Well-established in the People’s Republic of China, Darcet is one of the early pioneers in supplying test handlers for semiconductor assembly houses in China. Darcet also has two other subsidiaries respectively in Malaysia and Singapore – Darcet Sdn. Bhd., and Innogrity Pte. Ltd. The combined expertise of the company’s leadership makes Darcet a formidable competitor in the acoustic sensor market.
